I will be the first to post in this new section with my recently purchased Glock 20 in 10mm. I have been wanting a 10mm for a while now and this one fell in my lap. I just picked it up last weekend and have yet to shoot it. I am very excited about it and have some upgrades in the works I will post new pics as I add the upgrades.

Not nearly as bad as I had expected. I picked up 2 boxes of Blazer 10mm for 20 bucks a box. I think it was priced wrong because the same ammo right next to it was 29.99. I have found it online for 25 a box. The stuff gets really expensive when you get into the hollow point ammo. It jumps to about 40 bucks for a box of 25 rounds.

Why do you prefer 10mm over the more common 40?

I don't own a 40 at this time,but I would not call the purchase of my glock a preference. I saw a few hunting videos where they where using the glock 20 to hunt with and I became interested in the 10mm round from then on. I was really hooked when I saw the kind of distance that people where shooting this caliber I just had to have one. That's it nothing more.

That I do not know yet. I have seen stuff where people are shooting pretty far with this round. The guy I got it from said he hit a 12inx24in sign at 250yards. Mind you he only hit it once out of 5 shots but that is impressive with iron sights in my book!! I did see a youtube video where a fellow hit a 4x4 sheet of plywood at 350 4 out of 10 shots. I will let everyone know the results when I get out and shoot it.

That is not bad shooting yourself Tex!! I am looking at the 6in lone wolf barrel and hoping that will put me on a paper plate out to 50 yards. If I can do that consistently I will have a new primary deer gun!! If not I will still have a nice SHTF gun. The ballistics of the 10mm round are pretty amazing that is why I wanted one in the first place.

Yeah I heard they were better than a 40 but the recoil is a little more. Yeah the .444 is on a tripod for sure though other wise I would be all over considering it weighs almost 7 lbs...

Today I ordered my parts I have coming a 6" lone wolf barrel, a 3.5 lb connector, a 22lb recoil spring with stainless guide rod and a recoil buffer. Dropped almost 200 bucks in parts, but it should be a shooter for sure when I get it all installed. I will post a new pic when I get the parts on it. Should be about a week till they get here in the mail. Once I get them on I am going to hit the range.

I have had all the new parts installed and she is ready to go. I have not shot the beast yet with all the goodies on it. I did take it out a few weeks ago and it is everything I had heard and more. This thing is nasty mean!! I have a few more things I want to do but they will have to wait until the piggy bank gets filled up again. Enjoy the pic.
